12 injured in bomb explosion in SW Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, Sept. 25 (Xinhua) — Twelve people including two policemen were injured in a bomb attack on a police vehicle in Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province on Wednesday, official sources said.
The incident happened in the provincial capital city Quetta, and two of the wounded people are in critical condition, Waseem Baig, media coordinator of the provincial health ministry told Xinhua.
The attack occurred while the police vehicle was conducting routine patrols in a busy area of the city and was hit by an improvised explosive device, police sources said.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
The area had been cordoned off for investigations. ■
